Previsic Boris

Born 1972 in Richterswill bei Zürich (Switzerland), he completed his studies in flute in the class of Marianne Stuckl at the High School for Music in Winterthur, after which he acquired a concert diploma at the High School for Music in Basel in the class of Felix Renggli.

After completing his studies, on a scholarship from Cité Internationale des Arts, he continued his professional development with Gilles Burgos (Ensemble Intercontamporain), where he specialized in performing contemporary and baroque music on the traverso-flute.

In 1999, PrevišiŠ won the first prize at the national flutist competition in Switzerland whose jury was presided over by Peter-Lukas Graf.

Since then, as a sought-after soloist and chamber musician, Boris has performed in Armenia, Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Georgia, Italy, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Germany, Russia, USA, Slovenia, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey... He also participates regularly in concerts of ensembles such as Collegium Novum and Contrechamps.

Apart from his concert activities, along with Matthias Arter, PrevišiŠ has founded Pre Art (and institution that functions as an initiator of numerous interdisciplinary projects in Switzerland and Southeast Europe and which has brought him the Siemens Musik-Preis in 2003 as well as many other awards.

In 2001, along with Ališer SijariŠ, he founded SONEMUS and has been active as its production manager and one of its performers.
