DAVORIN 2005: GRAMOFON RELEASES RECEIVE13 NOMINATIONS

Gramofon artists Dubioza Kolektiv and Basheskia, whose albums were released last year received, 13 nominations for "2005 Davorin Award" – 4th Bosnia and Herzegovina music awards.
Following the first round of voting, voters from all-around B-H have chosen 5 nominees in each category. Dubioza Kolektiv came second among the total of eleven nominees. This band that already released two albums, was nominated in one of the most important Davorin categories –album of the year. They were also nominated in the categories of rock/urban/club album, song and artist of the year.
Video for Dubioza Kolektiv’s song "Ovo je zatvor" was nominated for the best video in the category of rock/urban music, while the song “Keep Burning” recorded with Mush from Fun-Da-Mental was proposed for the most successful international music collaboration.
Adisa Zvekić, member of Dubioza Kolektiv, is amongst five nominees for the best female vocal performer in 2004, while Brano Jakubović and Almir Hasanbegović were nominated in the category for the best music arrangement for Dubioza Kolektiv’s album.
Vedran Mujagić is nominated in the category of best album cover design.
Dubioza Kolektiv is also amongst shortlisted nominees for debut album of the year, music innovation – different sound. Basheskia with maxi single “Postcards from Sunny Neighborhood” was also nominated in these two categories.
